£80m is the magic number seen around social media
Wrong we will pay what it takes to get our targets. With the way Viana has moved so far in the window, he isn't going to bung upwards of £80m on Livramento.
I also don't buy this notion that because we got Cherki and Ait Nouri cheap we can afford to spend more on Livramento.
I get the feeling Viana won't pay a penny more for a player of which he values him at.
I think there's interest from our side, but I'd imagine it would probably take him forcing a move since Newcastle made the CL? They don't need to sell and I certainly understand why
That’s far too much for a RB. I know we paid £50m for Walker but that was a bit different.£80m is the magic number seen around social media

Djed Spence pretty much outruns Livramento in every area in the PL this season per 90...
Correct. This entire saga is ridiculous for every reason. Move onThat’s far too much for a RB. I know we paid £50m for Walker but that was a bit different.
The fee’s we are currently paying for new players is not extravagant.
Unless we offload a player to them I can’t see this having any legs.
The world is full of fbs, go find one that cost half that. The pressure would be ridiculous on him.
That means Nunes must be moved first.Yep it will be MGW + some foreign RB ( hopefully Vanderson). Livramento is impossible I feel.
I'm not saying they will challenge for the title but they could do a lot worse than Howe. One club has Pep Guardiola as their manager and the other has Eddie Howe.
Wonder what they want? £70m-£80m?
They did pay £40m a couple of years ago.
They're also interested in Grealish on loan, could be something worked out there.
£70m + Walker, good deal for both partiesHow do we know it's in excess of 70m and excess what's that 5/10/15/20m in excess of 70m!? At moment there has been no concrete number out there
Right, but that’s not the only reason a young player would move though. Why would he want to leave Newcastle to join City?
Well one of the clubs is a title contender and one isn't
Right, but that’s not the only reason a young player would move though.
I don’t think we’re that arrogant either. Newcastle are a great club to play for
There is no realistic possibility of City doing any business with Spurs as long as Levy is there.Spence at spurs would be a home grown out of nowhere gamble to consider
