Never open your window in hot weather, all you do is let hot air in and warm the place up.

Terrace houses are great as they stay cool if you don't let the hot air in and keep your blinds closed, though they are freezing in the winter.

They have the central heating from both sides to warm the place up though, unless the tight cunts don't put it on

It's the lack of acclimatisation - May was like a cold March and then it's like some **** flicked a switch last week. I used to be a proper sun-worshiper in my youth, but can't be arsed with the shiny annoying fucker now.
