Just pointing out that before we take the piss out of Spurs losing 1-0 at West Ham, that we should remember that we also lost to a team we should have beaten, its football it happens (see Arsenal), I hate Spurs as much as the next blue.

Fair enough pal, I was more posting my original in mock horror but you have a point

If we're in contention then we probably fixed Ade and don't need another striker. If not then we need to replace him and we need another LB. I'm pretty sure that Lescott, Bridge, SWP, Shay, RSC are all on the naughty list and will be gone next year, The problem then is finding Home Grown replacements.

Shauny has been offered a new contract, don't see him going anywhere. Wouldn't mind seeing the others gone except maybe Lescott, who had a fantastic spell for us last season before his injury and has only been played out of position this season, not disgracing himself. RSC can be replaced as fourth choice striker by Guidetti or Nimely I believe.

if were within 6 points then there is no need to spend

please dont say that, mancini may hear you, he totally wasted the last january window and we dont want to encourage him to repeat that error, had he strengthened then we would be playing champions league football now.

He didn't, we got Vieira....;)

now i WOULD LOVE to see torres in a city shirt BUT however we have got 2 world class strikers in tevez and mario and if we go for torres and dzeko then that will be 4.

1. we cant take tevez out of the team cause he is captain and he drives our team unless he is very tired or unfit. then we got torres he is not going to come to city to sit on the bench is he ! he is gunna want to play every game and dzeko will too this is where mancini will earn his money if we get these to in. If tevez and super mario who i really really rate highly are in form where are torres and dzeko going to fit in ???

Mario in form wont get dropped because watch he will be better than torres in a few years !!
If not now !!

We've been in for Rodwell, we offered him 80k a week last year... He wanted to stay at Everton apparently because all his mates are there, he's young, on top money and thought he could gain more first team experience with Everton.

I don't think we withdrew the offer to him, perhaps if Everton are still at the bottom in Jan we could go back.

Him and Dzeko with a few fringe players leaving and we'd have a squad to rival many if not any.

How do you know that?

I dont want any sinings . i want this bunch of players to Gel . Just one CB would be welcome .
I dont want us to be madrid where every season a completely new lineup is fielded .
i believe we only need 1 CB . no more players needed . Bruno Alves would be perfect . the guy would would pose some competition to Kolo and we wont further landup in situations like the previous carling cup one. Also one additional gud CB would mean Boateng would always be used a RB only .

Another thing Tevez is Better Player Than Torres...........What Torres can't do is hold the ball up as good as Tevez and thats while there is usually 2 to 3 players trying to kick him!

Mock Vieira all you want but I think he's got a very important job at City, he's there for a lot more than playing in my opinion. He's a winner and a leader, and behind the scenes that is a very important thing to have within the club, as we have an inexperienced and young team. I'm sure Yaya and De Jong are learning a lot from him, as are many others, and that could well be a more important job than you could imagine.

I also imagine that he's doing his coaching badges in his spare time, and this could be another big asset to the club, there are few around that have done what he's done in football, and I'm pleased he's at our club and not someone elses.
