I'm probably one of those halfwits you're referring to. I'm delighted that he has proved me wrong. He did seem to change his outlook during the late winter/early spring period. Up until then, the football wasn't the most inspiring stuff we'd seen, and I often said that if only he'd take the leash off, we would then see just how good the squad was. Thankfully, we saw somewhere near our true potential for the crucial run-in. Perhaps that is why he is the manager, and I'm not. Anyway, my apologies and sincere thanks to Bob. Now; where did I leave that humble pie?

Wasn't aimed at anyone mate- but it used to really piss me off when he was getting stick on here. We have been top 4 all season but I like many Blues were waiting for typical City to kick in. But for the blips on Merseyside it never really looked like happening.

I've always said that Mancini would do it for us. He is a typical Italian Manager that is ultimately driven towards winning, however ugly or controversial. I have been watching this team now for almost 52 years and fellow blues, trust me; this lad will take us places, I've been there with Joe and Mal, who also had the gift. Mancini is going to be up there with them, pretty soon.

Only doubts I had was the press conference when he was appointed as our manager! After watching his team set up and the organisation it took me 2 games under his management that I thought hey he knows what he's doing! I've not had one negative post about him and stood his corner from then on!

Watch his interview on citytv, he's achieved 3rd, CL football and won the fa cup but he's still pissed off about the everton defeat, the couple of city fans singing the mancini song in the background was class.
