there is a lot of good bands out there, probably more than ever, given that you tube/my space etc exist. dont always assume the best has already been. try the mutineers as an example.

He probably did that in an NME interview where he had 10 seconds to think up an answer, its not great, but I think Noel does touch upon a decent point.

It doesn't help when hip hop is also being raped of what it is good for, the number 2 in the chart "Thrift Shop" is absolutely terrible.

Imagine the music industry is an iceberg. The charts are what you see, but under the surface there's so much good stuff there. Ignore the charts, the radio and suddenly music gets a lot better.
