Let me think about this. Adults, supposedly, move out of their positions in the stand jump over a barrier or two, play the kids game of ticky -it with an official or two before jumping up and down a few times. Look about to see who else is doing it, stay a bit longer on the pitch so it doesn't look quite so stupid and then go back to where they came from with silly grins on their faces. And that's a tradition?

Birmingham and Blackburn were both 2000 mate.
In 2002, we clinched promotion without actually playing, because Wolves lost their game on the Friday evening. That's why there wasn't a pitch invasion, even though we still had to play Barnsley and Forest at Maine Road.
There's probably a bigger chance of a similar anti climatic finale this season, especially with City, United, and Liverpool rarely playing on the same day.

One of my big regrets is not going on the pitch at FT in the QPR game. And I still don't know why I didn't do it. However, I'm over for the Huddersfield game (sat in 107), and I'm going on this time.

If you do and you are in CBL1 please let me know this time; the first time I ended up with a badly bruised arm and shoulder and could barely lift my arm for a week afterwards as people dived over the seats and pushed us over onto the concrete wall at the front. :-)
Obviously I wasn't that bothered because we had won the league BUT I am a few years older now and healing takes longer plus I have a heart condition now that I didn't have then. So be careful folks if you do invade. :-)
