But they will, just not every minute of every event.
I may need to be corrected on this but I think it’s 380 hours protected by UK law for free to air, so the ultimate aim or not of the American tv networks is irrelevant in the UK I’d say. I don’t think the current bbc level of coverage is short changing the licence fee payers tbh.

I appreciate prices can rise in anything, including the licence fee, but BBC is currently what £11 a month, sky Sports £25 a month but the Eurosport app cost me &19.99, for 12 months, £1.66 a month.

We used to play softball in school. It's basically rounders with a bigger bat.

But yeah, quite a few of the sports in the Olympics are for rich people. Sailing is another classic. I don't mind showjumping being in there, but I've never got dressage. It's one of those things that's presumably really difficult, but just doesn't look that impressive. I've spend 4 years teaching a horse to walk in a slightly funny way. It's the sort of thing that might be good on Britain's Got Talent, not the Olympics.

Also depends on your definition of "most decorated." She's got the most medals, but Kenny still has the most golds. And the medal table is decided on golds, not total medals.
