Tokyo 2020 Olympics/Paralympics

I think it might be me, but I'm just listening to Cram spouting on with St Paula in this 10k race and I swear it's an identical commentary to the last 10k they prattled on about. And someone give me a cogent reason why Michael Johnson is the only one I can take to and listen to from the BBC. And while I'm at it, I suppose Yappy Yorath and co are in the studio at Salford - WhyTF are they trying to make out it's dark 'n the middle fo the night, and no where in Salford looks like that at night!

It was better for Rio 2016 imho, where yes, they broadcast from Salford, but did it with windows & natural light and the Quays in the background iirc, instead of this green screen shite.

City Women have played like that for a couple of seasons. We'd score twice the goals if we shifted into a forward gear. It's one pass forward and two passes back. I'm hoping the young Jamaican lass can shift things along a bit, but City n' England play a game that's easy to cope with. And if yer miss a pen in a tight game yer invariably get a deserving shitty end of the stick.

Just realised that the GB coach is sister to that Dipper Riiiiiiiiiise of the lethal foot.
Absolutely no excuse for not having a GB coach for this team ....the tactics were terrible so surely we could get a British coach rather than an equally shit foreign coach...

Mixed 4x400m is potentially a great watch if there's women and men racing each other. need to see that more it's the closest we will ever get to seeing the real pace of these athletes.

Why is it that Americans first thought straight after a race is to stick half a tonne of gold chains around his neck for an interview?

Lack of coverage of GB medal ceremonies is annoying me. Even looked on YouTube and can’t see any. For me the whole point of the Olympics is watching the teary-eyed winners stand on the top podium as the anthem plays. Is it the snowflake BBC somehow avoiding showing them or have I missed them?

Why did they get DQ’d, any idea?
The GB quartet when interviewed afterwards suggested the line up may change for the final. I hope so cos no disrespect intended, but the last leg athlete looked like he was running through treacle on that last 200m

Several teams were lined up for the first handover in the wrong place. Johnson was saying that an official should be saying "stand here", but it didn't happen.

The US in the first heat, and Italy/Brazil in the second heat were about 10+ yards round the corner. Clearly in the second heat, the two runners realised that they were the ones in the wrong place and got back to the right place, but were nearer the official (lanes 6 and 7) so may have heard.

There's an appeal gone in, so they may be reinstated.
