If the FA don't take retrospective action it will be ridiculous, but I think they will.

Should be an interesting litmus test anyway. Are Spurs now a part of the FA's preferential treatment club?

now the BBC have brought it up expecting punishment on the national highlights I don't see how they can.
Missed MOTD, (at a fucking bonfire). Was it highlighted on there then?

yeah lawro and shearer said they expected the FA to punish him on monday and the commentator said he couldn't argue against it being deliberate.

what just cos he stamped on him with 2 feet, just because it wasn't on his face it makes it ok?

if it had been on his leg he'd be out for a year, Elmander is lucky.

I never said that its ok... but it didnt look as bad as people on here made it out to be. He didnt even catch him with the stoods. Stupid for him to throw his dummy out. But theres been far worse, Ades is just one example... stoods to the face. I didnt say in my post that its ok and he shouldnt be banned... perhaps read my post next time?

What are stoods ? ;-)

He has to be punished,it was a deliberate premeditated act of violence that was missed by the referee, this can be proved by the lack of a card at the time of the incident.
I expect at least a 3 match ban, anything less will be a disgrace and completely inconsistent with previous similar episodes..... I won't hold my breath...
