Tom Ritchie ("City 'til I Cry" fanzine) RIP - Funeral today 14th October

Never knew him but RIP fella, face is definitely familiar, anyone know which stand he was in at Maine Road or the Etihad?

I met Tom outside White Hart line years ago. We had a good chat and he was really pleasant. I always used to buy a copy of ctic on my away day travels.
Best wishes to his friends on here.

Last time I saw Tom was outside Deepdale when Pearce was in charge. Seem to remember the fanzine ceased not long after AD arrived... as there wasn't enough to moan about anymore!

RIP... and never get out of the boat.

RIP Tom
Home or away, reserves ,academy or 1st team, you were there.
In the early years, when we were shit you're devotion and loyalty never wavered.
I will miss our in depth conversations on everything City and I will miss you.
God bless Tom
You never did get out of the boat

Woke up this morning to a Facebook post from Tom’s wife informing everyone he’d passed away. I knew he was ill, but given that he was still posting photos of himself out with his family until very recently, I had no idea of the severity of his illness and his death came as a shock. Like many others on here, I bought “City til I cry” every month and enjoyed it immensely. He gave a voice to City fans at a time when we didn’t really have one and he did it with great humour. A top Blue and a sad, sad loss to our fanbase. RIP Tom
