Tommy Doyle | Signs for Wolves | will be confirmed Jul 1st

City ultimately knew he was going there, of course, but that was only after his agent had organised the deal, which City apparently had not been informed about.

Again, that could well of happened, but the way it was suggested was as if city didn’t even agree to this loan, of course they did. You can’t suggest that city had their hands tied and literally could not refuse Hamburg, they could’ve and they chose to send him there over Huddersfield.

No, City apparently agreed to the players wishes which is totally different to what you keep suggesting. No one suggested that Doyle signed a contract with Hamburg without City's knowledge.

If anyone is interested, England U21 are playing against Georgia with Doyle starting. It’s 12 mins in…Can be found on England’s YouTube channel

Managed to tune in just as Georgia scored their 3rd :(

England have 1 back late on from an out-swinging Doyle corner, Greenwood scored it.

Edit: Mola (who he?) got the header but it came off Greenwood's back.

They dominated that game (Georgia). Their right back was amazing. There’s no synergy in that u21 England team. The midfield was close to non-existent. Let’s not even mention the forward line…

Well, at least Doyle got the assists but he didn’t particular have a great game.

edit: assists*

Only got the last few minutes of Hamburg’s 4-1 victory over Jahn Regensburg this afternoon. That was arguably HSV’s best performance of the season so far, and the table is getting tighter; the top seven clubs are now only separated by four points.

Unused substitute in Hamburg’s 3 v 0 home victory over Ingolstadt today. That’s disappointing as Ingolstadt are bottom of the league and being two up at the break and cruising I thought Doyle might have got some of the second half. Hamburg move up to fifth but still trail St. Pauli by 6 points.
