Re: Chelsea v Newcastle
I would love nothing more than to be going to Anfield next week instead of Newcastle, you think Liverpool would stand in the way of us pipping United to the title? I think your a little harsh on Newcastle to be fair.
They have only lost 2 games at home from 17 and only conceded 15 goals in the process. 6 of those goals came in the 2 defeats to West Brom and Chelsea. They've only conceded 9 goals in the remaining 15 games, they are very well organised and are capable of scoring goals. Sure they lost to Wigan, but that was on the back of 6 wins on the trot which is not an easy thing to do in this league.
Castiel said:I think you're scaring yourselves a little too much over Newcastle. We went there and crushed them 3-0 when we were in the middle of our freefall under AVB when we needed a win. If you win that game you basically win the title. They're nothing special, they've just been good at dispatching the league fodder this season. If you had go to Anfield and win I'd be worried because those pricks will raise their game to spite you.
