When you're on the dole like me and 15 quid is a massive chunk of the 65 quid I get a week, I stayed away.

Theres a recession on, if I had a job and money, I'd have been there last night.

Think you'll find it's £64.50... Guess your taking the piss though! But in reality some people are in that situation.

Unfortunately, I aint taking the piss, but thats the situation I find myself in. Moneys tight, and alot of blues are in the same situation :)

24,000 , I know Fulham brought only 91 fans but still the stay away fans tonight should be ashamed of themselves. We have waited years to get some money and a decent team together and still have the fans can't be arsed turning up, it makes me mad. Even the club do there bit and reduce the ticket prices to £12 Adults and £5 for kid and yet you lazy twats can't be arsed. No excuse stay aways.

To all the people who stayed away for invalid reasons can I just say..

You are a joke

Don't bother turning up for the Premier League games, you don't deserve to be there.

you've really offended me, i've been coming to almost every league geame, cup and uefa cup game since i was 10. i'm now 15. so calling me a stay away because i missed a game is UNBELIEVABLE. we're going to go further in this competition and money is hard to come by! stfu.

Anno im old+therefore my opinions dont mean much but the best city crowd i ever saw was colin bells comeback game v newcastle at maine rd 77/78 season. From about 1:45 to 4:45 all you heard was drinka drinka drink 2 colin the king-non stop all the way though the game, half time too.we won 3-0 & we also beat the rags+smears that season too.great times in the legendary kippax, sore neck+cold arse thru sittin on the wall lol.

Everyones opinion counts - especially if you are in agreement with me ;)

Wish I had longer on the Kippax - I am only 27 and been going since I was 5 but I was never allowed in the Kippax until I was about 15 as my pop wain a main stand man.

EDIT - fuck just realised I am 28 - Sept 7th birthday - bastard.

rofl, belated birthday wishes-yeh kippax was special, held 28 thousand-thas more than many stadiums! i first went when i was 7+loved it -i never had any trouble+ by 10 was goin on me own on match special buses.Plus that buzz of beatin the rags, when it all goes right is somethin you cant put into words, just fookin magical!! lmao

What i knob that Kaim is!! Im a seasonticket holder, i went to Blackburn and Portsmouth (400 mile round trip) so Kaim £20 for the ticket, £30 for booze/travel not everyone has this kind of money to blow so take your empty head for a wobble!!

think we should ban him for making such an unbelievable, yet naive, observation.

Who the hell are you to tell fans to go to the games, they can do what they like. If YOU WANT to be made to go to the cup games go and get a season ticket at united, there they tell you that you have to go otherwise you cannot have a season ticket.

Dear Kiam,

Sorry I couldn't attend the match last night. I am a season ticket holder living up in Cramlington, Northumberland I had a bone infection in my wisdom tooth and through the process of calcification it was fixed to my jaw. After a complicated operation yesterday at 2pm involving three dentists and numerous injections, drilling and minor blood loss I was then given oxygen with the subsequent swelling from the operation pressing on my windpipe.

I will however being dosed up to the eyeballs will be forking out for a hotel and train travel to attend the West Ham match on Monday as I have been told not to drive for a week.

Is this OK?

Thanks

Dave

Pussy :)

If only we could all be as perfect as Kiam06!

I expect to see him at Sunderland Reserves v City Reserves on October the 6th cos I'm sure he goes to all the reserve matches too!

Kiam does not not allow me to go to games based on his / her / its postings on other threads.
1. I was not born within a ten mile radius of the ground.
2. I am not even from Manchester
3. I have an Irish accent (funny that seeing as how I live in Northern Ireland)
4. 40 years of supporting City does not count as because I only joined the forum a few days
ago I must be a glory hunter.
5. Most importantly unlike Kiam I do not have a penis growing out of my forehead and this
seems to be the thing to have if you want to be number 1 supporter.

he's not saying he's the number 1 fan he's saying the turnout was poor and he was embarrassed, as was i.

He might not be saying it but he is acting like it

Just out of interest I presume you live near the ground? The reason I ask is that you sent you inital post at 1014pm. What time did the game including extra time finish?
