Tony Pulis (Merged)

Re: Pearls of Wisdom from Tony Pulis

Would make a change for him for the last ten years he's had the GPC cock in his mouth.

Bitter w@nker!

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis: "We are really disappointed to have not got anything from the game. The difference between the teams is spending about £350m. The weekly wages of one of their players would probably cover half my team and if I was their manager, I would be sat on the sidelines with a cigar in my mouth."

I seem to remember not too long ago a man in a tracksuit with a cigar in his mouth, should we contact Operation Yewtree?

Haha, very good.

I agree. What a wanker comment to make. Doesn't he know it's a no-smoking stadium?

Just about to mention that. Showsec would have him frogmarched out of the stadium, with a 3 match ban to come.

I believe he's going to rename Palace as TNS - The New Stoke, but needs about 8 more 6 foot plus players.

The difference between the teams is that one side are coached to play football by a manager, the other is managed to play at being a coach disregarding football. Tactics were obvious from the first 20 seconds when I saw 4 regimental lines comprising of 1,4,5 and 1 player(s). even when we scored it took them 10 minutes of us passing the ball about at the back to stop them sitting back. You don't deserve your fantastic fans at Crystal Palace Pulis. You are destroying any ounce of talent left in your players. How the 7 teams that you have managed still manage to retain any fans after watching anti-football under your management is beyond me.

If we played 19 teams like this twice a season I wouldn't be going to watch football.

Re: Pearls of Wisdom from Tony Pulis

I never had any respect for Pulis but for me the worst thing he did was, on the GPC's instructions, withdraw his loan players from Preston after they sacked Baconface Junior. Together with Baconface's loan withdrawals between the pair of them they ripped out half of Preston's team and Preston lost the last glimmer of hope of avoiding relegation. A c*nt in the pocket of another c*nt.

Re: Pearls of Wisdom from Tony Pulis

If he'd have been able to get his team to defend a lead for a few more minutes all those years ago, he might've got a chance to manage one of the big teams. As it is, he's marooned in that mediocre bunch of managers like Holloway, Allardyce, Moyes and Hughes.

Re: Pearls of Wisdom from Tony Pulis

To be fair, he's probably what Palace need at the moment. There's a fighting chance he'll keep them up which looked unlikely a few months ago. But by god, how much do you want to grab him by the throat and give him a good shake?

You didn't have the opportunity to witness us in the late 90s then?
Not the same style, but equally inept.

There is a little known fact that every member of the squad during that period had the middle name of "f**kin'"?

Good quiz question that is.
