Known mostly for her (movie soundtrack?) massive hit, Show Me Heaven. But has done some amazingly good albums too. Both solo and with Lone Justice (saw them play at the Poly and International)
Life Is Sweet is my favourite solo album. Saw her tour that at Academy 3 with her then husband on bass ... (though recently she has converted to the Isle of Lesvos apparently) top gig.
Of course, her duet of Show Me Heaven with Robin Zander on his solo album just takes it to a new height, natch ;-)

Still are..... supporting Tears for Fears on their US tour this yearI didn’t vote but I’m glad to see Shirley Manson in there. Garbage were a great band.

Seen her live about half a dozen times, always does a great show.Glad to see that two other people were prepared to forgive Kate Rusby for being born on the wrong side of The Pennines. Gorgeous voice and also the only folk singer my wife is prepared to go see, though she does insist on referring to her as the "It's a Cow. It's a Cow, woman".
