This story has got some legs and was mentioned as well on Friday on 5 live. Liverpool are in a sad state of affairs RBS have called in the bank loan they owe. The Yanks cannot fund the debt and in the current climate cannot re-finance the loan so the only option they have is to sell some of there assets.

So just to clarify were we're upto....
Alan Brazil stated on talksport El nino Torres to city is a done deal for 100 mill!?
and 5live also claim something similar!?
Now what i'd like to know is where the feck are they getting their info? Does this mean city and Liverpool have a pre-agreement in place and the player has agreed to the switch, or city have agreed a fee and we need to talk with the the player?
This done deal stuff can be very confusing!!
P.s. both these media outlets could be chatting shit but it's a bit of a coincidence that both are saying the same thing.
