I'm saying with the players we have we should be approaching games to WIN and if mancini is going to play this way we will have more draws....

Fair enough but would you rather play tactical (could be called boring) football and win the league or be involved in high scoring games finishing mid table.

I been following City for too long and experienced to much of the latter and worse to get uptight about performances.

I accept that he could have dropped SWP yesterday, let Carlos drop back and Play Ade or Jo upfront but..... he didnt and we did get a point. That's good enough for me at a ground where we have failed to do that in our last six visits.

If and when we look like a cohesive unit then we can look like an effective and dangerous side Attacking. This is Mancini's first full season in charge and whilst we got a first half battering there were few positives from the performance. Personal opinion Tottenham are an effective Long Ball side.

What happened when Lord Hughes of Salford pitted his wits against Burnley at home?

I know absence makes the heart grow fonder but in some cases it does not like no one misses having the shits, no one misses an unfortunate disease and no fucker should miss Mark fucking Hughes the draw specialist.

another selective example using burnley, bob was negative and played for a draw everywhere, home or away, regardless of the opposition, inc Hull ffs.
you all keep bringing hughes up, i find that odd as the people who liked the guy never mentions him.
bob and his dour football are just his way, nothing to do with hughes in any way shape or form.then again its a good deflection for you to use when bob yet again bores the fuck out of everyone with another totally inept display in a game of "football".

Enjoyable thread to read... people really are cornering themselves early on this season... I think both sides have valid points... just think its to early to comment on tactics and mentality this season

I take the point and move on after the circumstances we had going into that match... what was it 4 training sessions together with whole squad... and most of first XI away on internationals the week before... and that against the worst bogey team we have in the league

Give it a month and we will see if we are still goalless and shotless...
