Tottenham | Post-Match Thread | 4 League Cups In A Row!

My lad walked out of the room thinking he was a gonna.

Had to shout him back and tell him it was a yellow only. I was confused to fuck at that point as a caption definitely came up for that earlier challenge saying yellow.
5 minutes after the first, Tyler actually clarified that Laporte hadn’t been booked

No idea if my memory is tricking me but Spurs left back should have been carded early doors for pulling Foden back and the subsequently got booked for another hack at Foden . Exactly the same scenario as Laporte . They both should have been booked first time around and I very much doubt either would have committed the second challenges .
He hacked down Kev after to receive his first yellow. Right near the corner flag too, going nowhere.
I thought that Aurier got lucky too, went through the back of Sterling after losing his head and then kicked the ball away in frustration. No yellow

I enjoyed the match thoroughly from first kick to last and my enjoyment was increased massively by the sound of some genuine football fans instead of that dreadful canned noise piped through. And our lads put on a real show for the crowd dominating the match for the whole 90 minutes, playing some excellent football with Foden and Mahrez giving superb displays. The Spurs fans must feel an awful sense of anti-climax because they were involved in a Wembley final, a real football occasion, and they never got into the game. But I'm not entertaining any of this rubbish that they were useless or embarrassing - they never got into the game because our lads never let them in. Why do so many of our own fans fail to see that we have - at the very least - one of the best teams ever and yet only seem to win trophies because we play teams which are no good? We won deservedly yesterday because Spurs were not - and are not on other days - anywhere near as good as our lads.

Feel sorry for Son...NOT.. will never forget 1981..broke my heart that Final..McKenzie, greatest cup final goal ever..love my City
Yes I was there and guess how much the match ticket was for the replay? £2.50 Maybe the next time we play the spuds they’ll let us all in for the same price. I won’t hold my breath but never mind I get the old codgers rate on my season card this time round. Once a blue always a blue

It still hurts, but the demons, like Ricky Villa, are long gone.
A bloody long drive home that night. Fortunately, I'd managed to get my wife a ticket so I had someone to talk to.
We were on the train....the very last one, walked for what seemed forever through the fuckers then queued along a street for what seemed like a week...
