Not really. We played well and created loads of chances. We have a young team and the experience was good. You have to remember what state we were in before he came. It’s not an overnight thing and we don’t have £70m to pay for a player who could change it. Last year we competed and played some good stuff and with a bit of luck would have won a few games. I was happy with the progress. Ange knew we needed to upgrade again and he or the new guy has money to spend. We will also probably lose a couple of players but we will recoup much more than we paid. Ange will have a bigger squad of the multi million pound players and the ability to spend on what he needs.2 points in this year's Champion's League suggests that the 'force of nature' is more akin to a gentle summer breeze.
Don’t write him off, everybody who hate us up here did, and Ange parted everyone of their balls. He will make them much better.
