Well we have seemingly gotten to the stage where even mediocre players seem to be going for €60m... however, even with that in mind, they massively overpaid for Richarlison.I said at the time of the transfer that I couldn't believe the money this guy was going for, but, other people in football probably knew better than me. Always seemed to spend more time on his arse, or whingeing at the ref/everyone else, than making a significant contribution.
I think I underestimated myself.
I don't even rate him that highly though - never have. Mediocre players have something good going for them. I just can't see what it is with Richarlison at all. Stealing a hell of a living, though!Well we have seemingly gotten to the stage where even mediocre players seem to be going for €60m... however, even with that in mind, they massively overpaid for Richarlison.
Turkish or Portuguese.I don't even rate him that highly though - never have. Mediocre players have something good going for them. I just can't see what it is with Richarlison at all. Stealing a hell of a living, though!
(I bet his next club is Turkish.)
Shows how much money passes through the game of football, and football media when failures of thr game keep reappearing as players/managersIt’s amazing that it is the only line of work where you can be sacked for incompetence and get paid up fully and seemingly get another job in the industry without any problems
Here we go to another level, politicians are meant to serve their constituents and the public......Politicians too.
I think the question was more about when was the last PL manager to resign because he was doing a crap job rather than simply waiting to be sacked ala Bruce at Newcastle and Ole at the rags and get the pay off?Potter, quite recently.
Probably Gollum at the Mackems then.I think the question was more about when was the last PL manager to resign because he was doing a crap job rather than simply waiting to be sacked ala Bruce at Newcastle and Ole at the rags and get the pay off?
If they don't finish top 4 this season then it's likely that they become like Arsenal, where it was only Kronke finally spending money that improved them. Newcastle although they have hit a brick wall would be a much better prospect for players if they get top 4.If they drop out of the CL for a long time, the revenues will drop significantly and the stadium will not be full.
They were already seeing people not turn up under Mourinho and last season.
