Tottenham v City Post Match Discussion Thread

It's a good day to have Dzeko and Aguero in your fantasy team ain't it *smirks* I have not seen any of the goals was listening to it on the radio, but it seemed amazing, I can't wait to see the highlights simple brilliant city :) come a long way since being at the bottom of league 1.

Words fail me. An amazing performance. The mobility in midfield was superb. Mancini got the tactics perfect with Zab keeping Bale quiet. The quartet of Aguero, Dzeko, Nasri and Silva is a fantasy football. A mention must go out to the back four Kompany and Lescott were superb as was Yaya and Barry.

Well said. Zabaletta shut the Welsh Wizard out today and justified Mancini's tactical ability yet again. I've got to say that, despite the score, forgetting the last quarter, Spurs were dangerous and nobody can deny they have flair. Modrich looked like he was taking the piss and if I was Twitcher, I'd fuck him off to Chelkski ASAP.

im still in chock... we never ever win at WHL... at best we manage a draw... but OMG that was something very special!! Very Special!!! Amazing play, amazing that Dzeko managed to do 4 goals!!!! And WOW!!! Thats three very good games so far we have played!

I'm in love with Dzeko for years, so it's hard to express how happy I am at the moment with him, and with City's style of play :)

But the interesting thing to note are our comments about the 3 league games so far.

After Swansea it was often "Best City performance I've seen for years..."
After Bolton it was "Best City performance I've seen for years..."
And now after Spuds it still is "Best City performance I've seen for years".

May this never stop :D

simply fantastic performance today, incredible to see so early on in the season. was in a spurs pub for this one expected some lip but they were pretty subdued for most of the afternoon!well pleased for Dzeko he is off to a flyer-lets keep it going lads!

The Day of the Dzeko.
Fifty years after the Ballet on Ice, we got the Samba in the Sun!

One small gripe though...
was anyone else's enjoyment of that mesmerising, majestically powerful performance absolutely ruined by the sure and certain knowledge (as reported in the Mirror/ People?) that Nasri had been snubbed by the great and the good of the Manchester United hierarchy?

No? Me neither!
:)

Congratulations! I dont remember the last time a team did that to us at the Lane, poor as we were, you were phenomenal. You are now by far the superior side, it's absolutely crushing that we're here after last season the CL etc but fair fucks you'll be at the top for a long time now, we will resign ourselves to fighting Arsenal/Liverpool for 4th cause we simply cant compete

well done
