Sorry for your loss. Condolences to the family.
When my dad was ill and his days clearly numbered, I paid to take him and my son to a game against Hull in the chairman’s lounge. It cost a fair bit, but he was treated like a king. I’d told the hospitality team on the phone the reasons for taking him and they made a note of his name. His face when 2 or 3 of the old players came up to our table and said hello to him by name was a picture. It was the only time our three generations went to a game together but the club went out of their way to make it special.
We have our moments as a club, but we do get most things right most of the time.

Sorry to hear this blue. God bless. xMy uncle Mike was approaching his 80th Birthday, sadly due to an illness it was clear he wouldn't make it. His daughter e-mailed the club and received this. He was able to see it and his daughter told him of our win against Leicester yesterday, he passed away last night. Very good of the club. View attachment 59607View attachment 59608
