Wow Cav stealing the tape recorder from the American Journo. He is angry today.

Lol, typical Cav, he will be like that until he wins another stage, he's known for it, followed a huge strop the one year, by winning the next sprint and was crying like a baby on the podium. He's an intense guy. Thursday is another almost defo sprint finish, i think he will make amends.

I like edgy sportsman, people who wear there heart on there sleeve as i think most of us probably do.

Hope he wins thursday and im sure his team will be told.

Is Tony Martin still struggling with injury? Surely he would drive the OPQS train. If he his will he win tomorrows ITT?

Exactly, probably wouldnt be half the competitor he is if you took that edge away.

Tony Martin came off and crashed badly on the first day, was rumored he was out. He used to do long turns for Cav in the HTC Columbia team - that was an impressive train. If fully fit he has to be one of the favs for tomorrow.

Just watched it and said straight away Cav's elbowed someone there. After all, it won't be the first time. Shows how wrong you can be as the overhead shot shows he was blameless. Great interview too!

Went on holiday to San Malo and surrounding area two years ago and parking was a nightmare. God alone know how bad it was today!

One of the rare times when the slow mo replay looked better than in the race!!

Manchester to Blackpool on Sunday. Anyone doing it on this thread? Not doing it myself this year - 1st year I've missed in ages.

I will never forget the saxo train I think four years ago on the champs- Martin and himcapie destroyed everyone and launched Renshaw and cavendish so well that even sat up Renshaw freewheeled for second after seeing Cav to the 200m. Was one of the most impressive and dominant trains and them lead outs that I have ever seen !

I vowed not to do it again after last year and it will be my first missed one too. There's just too many do it now and it's hard to get in a rhythm. I might actually do it Saturday morning. I assume the signs will be out by then.

As for Cav I think he was too strong for Veeler and he braced himself for a collision whilst the other rider didn't. Serves him sight for a deliberate block or Cav would have had the most road stages wins in history by now.
