Ref saw nowt so I think they will ban him. Tap or not it was stupid and unnecessary and right now the last thing we need.
But was it a red card offence? Stupid and unnecessary yes. No argument

Kicking out at a player with no intent to play the ball could be seen as violent conduct regardless of how tame the tap was. Van Winky Wolf made a big deal out of nothing but City being a high profile club means it gets attention.

He shouldn't have done it then there would be no issue.

Given our current injury list and the impact it appears to be having on results, I'd bring Mancini back for a day to give him a proper bollocking ;)

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

i think rooneys attempt to bring down reise (i think) will probably get yaya off the hook
i cant believe nobodies talking about the dirty t%4t

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

As pointed out in MOTD 2. If Yaya was punished because of the TV highlighting it they would also have to look at the Cardiff Swansea game and every incident in this weeks games and every other game.
It pisses me off that we get singled out by TV where as other players just get ignored.

It's this 'singling out' that adds the feed for the agenda. Were every incident given the same treatment I wouldn't think twice about 're-refereeing' matches, but the FArce pick up on Twitter outrage and Facebook foamings and it seems it's this, and the SkyLoop (see 'Arry and Mario) upon which they base the most abject disciplinary system a governing body in sport could fashion.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Of course they will ban him, 3 games! FA hate us always hav,e yet gran shagger gets way with it every other week! Was stupid by Yaya but the RVW boy made a right meal out of it!

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

If the ref had seen it then I think he'd have definitely sent him off.If someone had done that to a city player I suggest most on here would be crying blue murder.Dont really blame him, heat of the battle and all that.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Even if he gets banned it will only really be the Sunderland game in which we will miss him the most in my opinion.

I can't be bothered about Chelsea and would have wanted him rested for Barca anyway, and the Stoke game at home we should have Fernandinho back.

Weve lost to Sunderland the last 4 seasons and are behind in the title race
yet you suggest its potentially good that he may not play.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

if yaya gets banned then so should rooney after today. watch him kick out at richardson off the ball as he runs the length of the pitch in the 1st half before firing over.
