Haven't seen any mention of it on here but incredibly stupid from Yaya. Could well be a 3 game ban, which I think would see him return from suspension for the league cup final? Assuming it comes in to place before Sunderland on Wednesday.

Again, that's if he is charged, but now it's been highlighted on MOTD it doesn't look good for him. Idiot.
what if the other player really deserves to be kicked?

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

You see Rooney getting away with this sort of shit all the time. Ridiculous if Yaya gets banned for a harmless tap on a player who made an absolute meal of it. Yellow card worthy maybe but no chance a red.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Rooney gets away with it on a weekly basis. I remember Alan Shearer almost decapitating Neil Lennon in a blatant and vicious assault, yet he got away scot free. One rule for the FA poster boys and another for everyone else.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

After seeing the media coverage this has got now its pretty inevitable he will get banned.

Like i said previously, I think we will be ok for the Chelsea game because I think he would have been rested for Barca, and for the Stoke game we will have Fernandinho back, but Sunderland could be a huge miss!

I still think we can and should win the game, but a makeshift central midfield is not going to look pretty.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Didn't see the kick-out, sounds idiotic of him. Now we have him gone for a crucial period. Damn.

That's you Sam always looking on the bright side

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Trial by media who have vested interests makes a total mockery of the FA process IMHO there should be no appeals or retro action with the exception of when the wrong player was punished and this should just be a transfer of the punishment. They openly admitted on Sunday Suplement yesterday that Mourino would be all over this

A City player copying Beckham. Shocking

IF he gets banned it's his own stupid fault, for a 30 year old he's so childish at times, how often does he get booked for slamming the ball into the ground after a decision goes against him? The manager should be having a not so quiet word with him.
That's true

A lot of players do it, especially the big players as they think they can boss the ref around. Counter-productive

On the other hand it's good that the guys has got a heart in his head. I'd be a bit worried if our players weren't getting frustrated when game aren't going their way
'Heart in his head' he needs a doctor!
