Re: Toure kick out - ban?
I know it's Graham Poll.

GRAHAM POLL: Toure should not be cited for petulant kick (despite Beckham's fate)... but the FA have become unpredictable

Manchester City's horrible week will get even worse if the FA decides to act on video evidence and suspend Yaya Toure for three matches following his petulant kick at Norwich City’s Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
A home defeat to Chelsea and a scoreless draw at Norwich would be compounded if their star midfielder is forced to sit out three games.
But there is an issue with the FA's disciplinary review panel. It really has no consistency and so it is impossible to predict if it will review the incident or not.

Complaining: Van Wolfswinkel was very angry after a fair challenge turned nasty
There is also no certainty over whether they will see fit to charge Toure. Chelsea fans will say they should while City fans will say it was a little flick of petulance rather than a violent act.
It compares with David Beckham’s kick on Diego Simeone in the World Cup of 1998, which of course resulted in a red card.
If the FA do charge Toure then they will need to also cite Cardiff's Craig Bellamy for his sneaky elbow on Jonathan de Guzman in the South Wales derby.
Learn from history: The little kick was similar to David Beckham when he lashed out on Argentina's Diego Simeone at the 1998 World Cup and received a red card

Referees are asked for consistency and the governing body must do the same.
That said, in these cases the FA should not take action against either player as neither incident is a major one or particularly violent.
If they are going to step in on a consistent basis then they should only do so with clear and obvious incidents that the active match officials have missed.
