Craig Bellamy is facing a three-game ban after the FA charged the Cardiff striker with violent conduct over his apparent punch on Swansea’s Jonathan De Guzman in the south Wales derby on Saturday.
The Cardiff forward clashed with De Guzman in the second half of his side’s 3-0 defeat and the FA confirmed on Sunday that they are aware of the incident.
However, Manchester City's Yaya Toure is set to escape any charge after he kicked Norwich striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel, despite Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho saying he should be banned.

Referee Andre Marriner has confirmed that did not see the punch, and so the FA decided it was necessary to refer the issue to a three-man disciplinary panel, who in turn decided a charge of violent conduct was warranted.
The incident spoiled an impressive performance from Bellamy in an otherwise miserable day for Cardiff.
The 34-year-old is likely to retire in the summer, but Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will attempt to persuade him to change his mind.
Solskjaer said: ‘Craig can definitely go on beyond this season. His body is in good shape, there’s no fat on him and he looks after himself – so it’s all about how long he wants to play football.
'He knows when he needs a rest. I was like that, the older you get you know what you need.’
Yaya Toure may be fortunate after Television footage appeared to show him aiming a kick into the base of Van Wolfswinkel’s back during the dying stages of Manchester City's goalless draw at Carrow Road.
Mourinho had claimed Toure must be banned for three games after his petulant kick.
He said: ‘You can do what you want if the referee does not see. So the message is there. If the FA defends football, he has to be suspended.’

What made matters worse was the fact that the Dutchman was lying on the floor after the ball had gone when the controversial incident took place.
City manager Manuel Pellegrini tried to dismiss the incident, saying: ‘I didn’t see it and I’m not concerned about that.’
But Van Wolfswinkel was adamant out on the pitch that Toure had kicked him, and City boss Chris Hughton said: ‘If that’s the case, then enough people will have seen it, even though I’ve not seen it at this stage. Ricky’s not one for complaining, he generally just gets on with it.’
