Toure kick out - no ban (update p30)

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Does he actually kick him in the back ?
He seems to kick at the Achilles which obviously erupts and causes a roaring upwards momentum towards the bottom of his back which in turn causes the disease of rollingaroundlikeatwatitus until realisation he's getting fuck all.
Although a bit petulant ffs that's not a red card and the game is fucked if it is .

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

I'll be very surprised if he gets a ban for that, it was just a tap. Bellamy's was worse if anything.

Delete this thread, nothing to see here.

Not worthy of a ban of any sorts.

Now these diving cheating players reining injuries should get retrospective bans

-- Sun Feb 09, 2014 11:32 am --

A ban depends on Sky. They decide who is banned and who is not, not the FA
If they show the incident every 15 mins from every angle including google earth the FA will ban him. If they decide not to show the incident a lot, much like any Rooney challenge then there will be no media crying out as it will be swept under the carpet and nothing will happen.

Very true, not turned on SSN yet today

the thing is, hes doing it more often now, a sly kick in more games and pulling another player shirt when they go past him, but he's usually in a warmer climate this time of year. pellers needs to tell him to cut it out

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

Yes as per usual all retrospective action will be dictated by the slavering rabid rag hacks who have replaced the FA's fuckin spine in the last few years if Ya Ya should have seen red then so should have wolfswanker for rolling around with no contact whatsoever like he'd been hit by a sniper THE PRICK !!!!!!

This is also very true. Whilst to ban him whilst similar offences are overlooked week in and week out, and far worse overlooked if you happen to play for the rags, would be ridiculous, Yaya is petulant and the only reason he gets away with it is because the media has never made an issue of it. If he had a reputation he'd get a lot more bookings.

Re: Toure kick out - ban?

As I understand it , these post match reviews are only for the most serious of incidents that go unnoticed by the referee? This clearly does not fall into that category. If it does then the FA will have to open up a whole new department to review every small incident of every match where the ref might have considered giving a red had the incident been noticed. If Larson's tackle on Garcia didn't prompt a review, I can hardly see this one doing so.
Also after the Chico Flores reaction in the Andy Carroll incident, they have to be very careful not to be seen to be rewarding similar reaction from VanWolfswinkel (?).
