I don't care about Ronaldo, but going into Pep's penultimate season without a recognized striker when we've had months to prepare is downright negligence.

Whether the club misread the market or what, I don't know, but there's really no way around it. They messed up.

What pisses me off is that Khaldoon felt very cocky and certain that we were gonna do big business this summer. Creative was being mentioned. Triggering a release clause and not strengthening the most needed position is definitely not that.

we have made zero offers for a striker this summer! This isn't a case of "no right deal were out there", we were just COMPLETELY asleep!

It's been an absolute shambles and the club seriously need to sort itself out.

They've let their talisman go in Sergio, haven't replaced him. They've still got a glaring issue at LB which is compounded by Mendy and the court case.

Its been a fucking appalling window. Grealish is a great player, but £100m wasn't needed on him when the squad is imbalanced.
