Transfer Strategy

Really am sick of getting bullied and used in the transfer market, I just don’t understand why we don’t have any bollocks about us!

we are now going into a season with no recognised left back and no recognised striker
We can’t compete with the history clubs. It’s as simple as that. Most if the time city get used to up the fee.

Our approach need to go back to buying a little below world class.

We also don't have a recognised half-back or a recognised destroyer type defensive midfielder. Luckily for us, we don't play these positions either so it's not a concern.

And Zinchenko has now played left back longer than he's ever played anywhere else in his career. It's been half a decade. If he's not a recognised left back then Gareth Barry was never a recognised centre midfielder.

Show me an example of when we won the race to a superstar? It’s only bollock because you don’t want it to be true.
Define "superstar". Because that's your out. Any time I name a player we took that others wanted, your excuse will be "well he's not a superstar". If you drop this totally pointless and subjective idea and just concentrate on players, then almost every single player in our squad.

That's clearly BS. PR7 was ready to join us before we delayed the fee and got pressure from rag board and ex players.

We have one of the best projects in world football, a chance to make history. We just need to be bullish in the market.

Show me the "history clubs" in the premier league which have won the race to a superstar in last decade.

We could compete with any club for any player if we truly wanted to. Look at the players United snatched from us. Every time they offered to pay more to the selling club and offered much higher wages. If clubs like United really are a bigger draw, why did they need to pay Sanchez nearly three times what we were offering? The same with Ronaldo. The same with Fred. The truth is that we are the bigger draw, but they are willing to pay more.

Struggling to think why we wouldn’t think Trippier is an option. Probably available for around £25m. Can play on both sides. Plenty of assists. Would count as academy grown. This seems the definition of a no brainer.
