Transfer Strategy

I admire your optimism but I can’t see us spending that much.
We're not signing Leao or any other creative player if any other big team come in for them. Who the fuck wants to be hamstrung by Pep forced to play square or to Ederson all day? We're not fooling anyone. The guys we already have don't want to be here any more because they are being asked to play like boring, risk averse robots. What makes anyone think there are top level players on the market dying to do the same? It started somewhat with Grealish and now it's becoming a narrative with Haaland. You went to the wrong place is the message. The new Pep will take away your game, your fun, your freedom. He will demand you become a robot. Please don't say they'll come for money because a lot of clubs have money.

Do the powers that be at City go all out for Pep this summer or will they keep their powder dry & back the new manager coming in the following summer ( if Pep goes) ?

We've scored 53 league goals this season. I don't doubt that we've got ourselves into a mentality of keeping possession for the sake of it and playing risk-averse football, but do you not think that Pep and Txiki will identify these shortcomings and address them in the summer? Or will you just admit that it's time for a change of manager?

Can’t waste 2 years. Go all out for players that every/any manager would want (& most can only dream about!)

The fact of the matter is we've been reluctant to sell anyone pep has signed. And we haven't signed players to put others under pressure for their position. We've had an issue with selling players who's levels have dropped and have put too much faith in them due to past times.
Sterling and Jesus last summer was a start but clearly the 'move and shake' peps been talking about with players hasn't really happened.
Bernardo who's been wanting a move for 2.5 years ....are you surprised his levels can't be maintained when we're just refusing to let him leave?
Things have become stale and the players look almost uninterested. We should be looking at 5/6 changes going both ways this summer in my opinion, it's difficult right now to even name our best XI and pep doesn't seem to know because he's named 19 different back 4 combinations and our game/team has looked unrecognisable to what we associated with peps city over the last 3-5 years.

Kvara is not coming here. Spaletti allows him to play in a manner that suits his abilities in a very strong side. Why would he want to come to City and have Pep put him in a cage? Sorry, but this is going to be told to any top creative player by clubs competing with us for their services. Players have eyes and they watch games. To win trophies? These guys are already winning trophies and we're no longer a sure bet to do so. Last year we were 15 minutes from going trophy-less and this year we may not get any.

So what do you suggest we do? Get rid of Pep for Spalletti? Seems to me as if your problem is solely with Pep and your fed up of him being our manager.

Stop moaning mate. Regardless of what you say we still score the most goals nearly every season across Europe. We are just having a bad season where Pep is experimenting far too much than he should be. Players generally come here and develop further and whatever the media might be trying to drill into football fans that Haaland isn't suited for City, he's still scoring goals at a rate the premier league hasn't seen before.

And after all this moaning we are still top goalscorers in the league, just like we have been the previous few seasons too.

Just take yourself off the fence and tell us what you really feel. Is it Pep out time yet?
