Treble winners “you’ll never sing that”

The forest fans found it funny when we replied you weren't even born

I'd be giving it the villa fans for sure, what with the lack of success and the delusion over Grealish they are def in the 'special' category
I've been to Villa Park a couple of times in the past and never had any problems but when we played them in the League Cup final a couple of years ago they seemed to have transformed into a nasty bunch and I wasn't the only one who said it. I think someone on here said they have all the ugly characteristics of a 'history's club without the historical success. Now they see us winning like many rival sets of fans they blame us when they should be asking their club hierarchy what is going on. Oh and they employed Slippy G - which went really well for them.

Just had a gander.

Not only can they not give us any credit because we’re cheats but Jack is clearly an alcoholic and won’t see 30.

Then in the next breath De Bruyne is a proper boring **** because he doesn’t get pissed.

Mental health isn’t their strong point is it?

I'll be honest, I never paid them a lot of mind in years gone by. What I've slowly come to understand is that this is in fact a club that has gone decades, literally — give or take a league cup — without success and its fanbase sees their club as basically the Manchester United of the Birmingham area, with a natural right to dominate. Except that they haven't even begun to have the success that United or Liverpool have had in the last forty years.
Delusion doesn't even begin to describe it. Their reaction to our getting Grealish was similar in ways to Liverpool's when we got Raz. They simply couldn't believe that we would dare.
I don't at all mind Wolves because I always had a soft spot for Derek Dougan (yes, I know, that's a looong way back, too) and I actually quite like West Brom because I was friends at school with a lad who was the son of their chairman (Bert Millichip) and we sat week after week through the most boring class I've ever had to endure while he'd pass sweets forward to me to alleviate the crushing boredom.
No opinion either way on Birmingham City or Walsall.
But Villa are thoroughly dislikable, in fact. On the tram to the Etihad for the last match of the 21-22 season, their fans were really give it the big one. As if they were on conquered turf. Exactly as if they were the rags of the midlands. And by common report from everyone who was at Wembley, they behaved like utter shitheels both around the stadium, going back on the tube, and at Euston.
I shouldn't be getting into this on this thread. This thread should be all about celebration, and just feeling at one with the world. And I do. I genuinely do. It was my mistake to look in on their forum. I thought, stupidly, that there might be a little bit of generosity, or just plain simple recognition.
Stoopid…

I never understood the Villa vitriol.
Is it because their 'rich American' owner turned out to be a damp squib filled with broken promises?

For a club whose success is consigned to the 19th Century, they've had some awfully high opinions of themselves.

Barry, who made 440 appearances for Villa in 11 years before completing a £12m move to Eastlands during the summer, was booed from the minute he stepped off the team coach until the final whistle of the 1-1 draw by sections of Villa supporters, some of whom also waved fake banknotes at him.

So then lads, how does it feel to be European champions??
It still feels a bit surreal to me.
I definitely felt more elation when we won the prem for the first time. Maybe it was because of the drama of it all?
But being able to call ourselves the champions of Europe now officially (even though we all know we've been the best side around for 5 years) is amazing and fills me with immense pride.

I lived there when they won the league and the European Cup. Biggest tools in football because they are the biggest in a goldfish bowl called the West Midlands. Birmingham rule Birmingham and always will whether you like them or not. Battered Villa twice a season.
