On another city forum a somebody posted a couple of hours ago his resignation would be confirmed tomorrow in the MEN. Like anything you read on the web though, I think it needs to be taken with a tonne of salt.

FSF have got back to me and said they are really looking into this incident.

That depends who they get to replace him. Fletcher - whatever you think about him, he has been very supportive of allowing fans to remain standing. He's turned more than a few blind eyes to fans standing up.
The next incumbent could take the job and be told to have a 100% crackdown...... who knows...... time will tell.....

I like to stand. I stand away, I used to stand at home. I moved from 109 in the summer, for my dad as he can't stand every game for 90 minutes and I think that is the sensible option but not everyone feels the same whatever logic may dictate.

Good attitude. If you wanted to stand yet went in East Stand Level 3 then you'd look to move to 116 as opposed to expecting everyone to conform to your preferences.

Indeed, better the devil you know... but if we do get somebody that will at the least enter into dialogue with supporters it's a result.

Amanda is a top (wo)man - remember when the GMP were found guilty of wrongful arrests with the Stoke fans at the pub in Irlam? Amanda led the charge from the FSF. Trust her, anyone who has information, trust and contact her.
