Or, for the second year running we have two away fixtures to get to when a lot of people are off work and can have a proper day out on a good away trip between Christmas and New Year
Therefore it benefits about 3k and inconveniences 50k

They're available northbound for Bournemouth now, weren't on Friday.Virgin website seems to be having a problem with advance fares so can't actually book any trains yet.

Not really as we have four or five Saturday home games in the run up to Christmas, three at 15:00... for me it’s a perfect run of fixturesTherefore it benefits about 3k and inconveniences 50k

Just for info for anyone off to Chelsea, there's going to be an additional "relief" train just ahead of the last train from Euston as part of the ongoing City /Virgin Trains partnership. It won't appear in public systems but away fans will be directed towards it on the night to avoid overcrowding on the last train at 21:00.

Confirmed timings for the additional train for Chelsea vs City (which will be unadvertised and unreservable) are:
Euston 2054, Stafford 2231, Crewe 2254, Wilmslow 2310, Stockport 2324, Piccadilly 2337.
As stated before, the Virgin "Welcome Hosts" will guide any fans who are on the concourse at the time with valid tickets for the 2100 (or any inter-available tickets) onto this service to reduce overcrowding on the scheduled service.
