Hardly watch anything live bar sports, usually go through the planner once a week and record everything I'd watch, then watch it when I feel like it.

that's what I do, and I record 2 programmes , gold rush and deadliest catch ,I only watch football and the odd documentary

Personally I think we're living through a golden age of TV. And the reason is that TV is made for audiences now instead of advertisers. You're not going to sell a Netflix subscription on the back of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. But there's some absolutely incredible TV dramas nowadays. Best thing I watched recently was Killing Eve, and I can't imagine that being made when I was growing up.
