TV is dying.

City is the only thing worth watching. The wife watches Corrie.
If it wasn't for City I would bin it, and seeing as how we won't be getting any more games next season............
I watch all the soaps, glued to em I am.. Corrie, Enders, Home n away, Neighbours, Hollyoaks.. in fact, if it wasn't for Emmerdale, I'd get no fresh air what so ever !!

Don’t get them over here. You would enjoy, “ as the stomach turns” and “the young and the breastless”.

Breaking Bad or Dexter were the best TV I've watched for ages. In their absence, I'm usually content with The Sweeney or early episodes of Minder.

Too much reality rubbish where you get annoying nobodies who think their shit don’t stink

Breaking Bad was amazing. Enjoyed Jack Ryan on Amazon. Just finished Game of Thrones and it was damn good. Next up is Narcos. There are endless high quality series to stream and plenty of sports to boot. There may be no good 30-minute American sitcoms anymore, but other than that there is more choice than time to watch.

There was an interesting piece a few days ago about subscription TV with reference to sport:

Bit of a selective article from someone with an agenda really. Sky and BT do have problems with their model but those problems didn't cause the average viewers to drop from 1m to 300k mid article. Also comparing BTs average CL figures to the peak CL final tv audience is disingenuous. Shame really as he had some good points to make.

I can't handle the constant adverts, it's not as if those adverts had any substance like they used to have when we only had 5 channels to choose from. If it's not a Dying Donkey it's someone selling you insurance if you're over 50. I switched over to UK Gold for the first time in ages yesterday and it took 10 minutes for the program to start.

I'm a FOC and like to wait for things to come on the telly,if it's moved to netflix i tend to drift away from it,my sky planner is always full as i record everything to skip through the ads
