I’ve just watched episodes 4-8 from the 5th season of The Shield.

Even though my learning disorders inhibit me from remembering much, I’m surprised The Shield isn’t widely regarded as one of the best TV series ever made. As much as I love Breaking Bad, I find Vic Mackey far more watchable than Walter White/Heisenberg.

It is regarded as one of the best by people who know ;)

I hated the way the series ended, I was a nervouse wreck as it came to the end

National Treasure on Channel 4 catch up is brilliant with superb writing and understated acting. Robbie Coltrane and Julie Walters at their absolute best.

I thought I'd watch the first episode of this tonight on your recommendation, it's now ten past four, yes I had to watch the lot.
Superb.
Coltrane just nails it. Walters character a slow burner but what a scene in the bedroom with her daughter. After that she is brilliant.
This is how you do it for me, 4 episodes of gripping drama. Great soundtrack too.

Ah you’re very welcome mate, glad you enjoyed it.

I think too much drama nowadays slips in to being melodramatic and loses credibility.

But I think National Treasure pitched it just right and had believable characters and storyline. Julie Walters was absolutely pitch perfect for me.

Got to admit I absolutely loved this show and is up there with one of THE best sci-fi shows of all time.
Season 1 was a bit of a slow build up but once season 2 got going with the Shadows storyline it never looked back.
Excellent show and a must for any sc- fi fan.

Don't know why but I just can't get into this, tried twice now.

Enjoyed watching S3 of Ozark so much, I'm rewatching the first 2 seasons. Picking up on things I never noticed first time.

Watched the 3 seasons in 2 weeks, now i'm finding it difficult to find anything as good. Redneck Ruth is brilliant.
