TV Series

So I don't usually watch female comedy... but have just seen Kat Dennings( thanks for the pics internet! ;) ) name pop up in a show called 'Dollface'.

15 mins in to the first ep and it actually has some hope as it seems quite 'male' in observation and delivery!

Here's hoping the deconstruction actually quite valid!

There are 2 reasons I'll watch things that Kat Dennings is in

About to tuck into the first three episodes of Ridley Scott's 'Raised by Wolves' to see what the scooby is.

Apparently the the first ep is supposedly 'epic', but we'll see as I'm not a huge fan of R. Scott.

how was it?

currently in 'easy' mode: 2 Weeks to Live and new Strike series, both just easy going TV
coming up: Succession, which i've heard is funny, and Watchmen on Now TV

I think I lasted 2 episodes as I didn't like the way it founded the series from what I saw.

Not sure what you mean by founded the series (I may be reading it wrong) but I thought it was shortish, easy on the eye and decent cast...bit like Dexter was a bit ridiculous (way below the likes of the Wire etc etc) but somehow enjoyable as light entertainment.
This didn't work for me though...way too silly and all over the place with the plot and characterisation.

I guess I should've just left if with solo watching Saul...

The first ep is nothing to write home about, but does engage through curiosity more than anything else and it almost lost me in all honesty!

Different ball game with ep 2!!

It has my attention now!

Ep 3 tonight!

Had a discussion with you about Stargate Universe a while back pal and decided to try to watch it again, managed to get past the first series and 5 episodes into the 2nd series and it's better than I gave it credit for.

What threw me is the lack of humour and the angst that riddles the series, but it's still good.
