TV Series

Enjoyed 'The City is Ours', have started 'Mobland' though didn't love the first episode and eagerly awaiting the final episode of '1923', which I'm a big fan of.

Sorry, can’t get pass the scouse accents
Strangely enough I know what you mean in as much I am currently watching "The One That Got Away, and despite being Welsh I cannot get past the Welsh accent (and the acting is pretty sub-standard too)... and the story line is pretty tepid too. But I will stick with it for now..

Tapped into a bit of vintage Trial & Retribution earlier. David Hayman and Victoria Smurfit; so watchable. La Plante’s stories weren’t bad either.

Just finished Virdee on BBC and a decent watch. Kind of fizzled out towards the end a bit but the first 3/4 episodes were really good and intriguing but then it just went mainstream bog standard drugs / criminals series. Worth watching and seems like a series 2 will come.
Very good imho. Getting a bit of “Silence of the Lambs “ vibe. One episode to go.

Just watching This City is Ours.

Three episodes in and it is IMO very good. It's up to date, engaging, the acting is good and the storyline is current and relevant...

If you enjoyed Kin, this may just be for you?
It ‘IS’ Kin, but Scouse version. Very good though
