TV Series

Mm.

I'm just... I don't know if I'm overthinking it, but bad writing really bothers me cos if you open the door to a situation, you have to be able to close it confidently. I'm not sure the writers have thought things through with the moral consequences (Mr. Diabaté's actions in the same way kind of started off the questions for me) as there are lots of knock-on effects from such things.

I hope I can put the Genie back in the bottle for the second series!
To be fair I think you approach these things similar to my partner ;-) I honestly told him last night to "stop over analysing it" when he was moaning about Pluribus lol.

I'm quite often the same but strangely, with Pluribus I'm unusually very relaxed whilst watching it ;-)

Yeah, exactly.

And, for me, there was a lot of confirmation bias going on with no real examination of the preceding triggers and how they got there.

The frustrating thing for me, was feeling like I switched on the TV at the halfway point of watching dominos fall instead of knowing who started it. Lots of posters on here believe they know the starting point.

What they showed on that show is not the starting point of the current issues for young people.
Cracking summary, mate. Articulated far better than I could have put it.

You're right, it wasn't! They tried the 'connecting it to real life issues' card.....but it didn't 'highlight' anything, or mean anything. Also, I'm not a fan of Stephen Graham at all....mostly plays the same 'character' in everything he's been in, very limited actor.
You were doing quite well till the last bit.

Al capone
Snatch
Abuse victim
Chef.........

On and on it goes.

The exact opposite of a limited actor. He's not a scouse Ryan Reynolds ffs! :-)
