The wire is the best tv series of all time
Just finished the last episode and i thought it was a complete misstep for a series that was generally good. The best episode of the season (ep 3)was the one where they ventured outside the original material. 7/10 seems fair.

The Wire would certainly be in my personal top 10, especially due to the high level being maintained over so many bingeable seasons, but it’s down to the individual - each to their own eh?
Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and The Shield say hi.

The Last of Us was pretty solid, without breaking down too many new doors. Enjoyed it.
Does the Luther TV movie count as a series? It being span off. Watchable but lacked that vibe and camera work the BBC series used to have. Started watching The Bay. I just like Morecambe bay, otherwise it is an average show worthy of Sunday night viewing. It is one of those shows that is lacking lots and saps in potential.

Never watched the shield even though my son in law says it’s great .
