TV Series

Binge-watched 2 series of "State of Happiness" on BBC, subtitled Norwegian drama about start of oil industry. Think it may have been about a while but just noticed on I-Player.

Brilliantly acted and well paced, with real character development over a 10 year arc. One for Borgen fans.

It’s a cracking drama. I’m sure I read that they are doing a third series.

If anyone fancies something different take a look at Pren ar y Bryn (Tree on the Hill). It’s a dark comedy set in rural Wales. It’s on Iplayer. Welsh language but it’s worth the effort. The two main actors give a great performance. Really enjoyed this over Christmas.

There’s been a few really good Welsh dramas over the past few years. The countryside always features and they often feel very ‘Scandi’ in style.

Just two more episodes of The Crown to go. I'm going to really miss this series, been absolutely brilliant from beginning to end.
