For me, still the greatest TV series of all time, just edging out B.B. and G.o.T.
Season 5 is a bit of a let down compared to the others, cos there was a writer’s strike on at the time, but even that was still better than anything its rivals could offer. Season 4 was the best, and you could perm 1, 2 & 3 in any order. Personally for me I’d rank them 4, 2, 3, 1, 5

The Wire is untouchable. Immense series.

but me and the wife watched the first episode and thought it was shite. what are we missing and why should we go back to it?

Watched the first 4 episodes and just couldn’t take to it.

Far fetched as fuck and when he started bouncing about with that little ‘white trash’ family I had to sack it.

The looming tower, all about the years running up to 9/11 and the failings of the CIA and FBI. Not sure how much it is exaggerated for tv, but it’s pretty shocking how badly the orgsnisations worked together and how it could of been prevented. Some truely awful characters in it.

Just finished Snowfall season 2 it’s fantastic and that Franklin lad is a young Denzil Washington

It's a very underrated series.

Some great storylines and loads of plot twists.

Based on a true story as well.

Just finished the end of the middle part of Series 5 of Vikings and I don’t think I’ll ever bother watching it again when it comes back on.

I think it’s topped Breaking Bad for most stupid storyline and they actually had very good, interesting, gripping, historical facts they could have used.

Huge wasted opportunity with that programme

With the passing of the incredible Scott Wilson I decided to rewatch TWD’s early seasons recently - I actually forgot how good it was to begin with! So many great characters, some brilliant performances notably from Wilson as Hershel. It really was an amazing series up until possibly season 4 - completely unrecognisable to the bore fest it became later on of course!

Season 2 was always a bit of a funny one, one of those things you look back on (as the series moves forward) and it's only then you realise how good it actually was.

2 remains the best for me...... the whole character depth, the Greek and the don teamster in frank sabotka

Yes never went in there but heard quite a few of the old names did Robidoux, cokey Stevens etc. I did once have a game with Jim Wych in the academy of spherical arts in Liberty Village.
