TV Series

Best thing i have watched in a long time

Keeping going with new dexter but i am not enjoying it
I didn't like the Serpent, nor Showtrial, or Vigil much. All watchable, but thought they were all a level below Happy Valley, Gentleman Jack, Line of Duty or Luther.

Thinking of starting Peaky Blinders from the start again - shame we've lost Polly from it.

Thought Vigil was crap mainly due to bad acting from the captain and Surahn thingy.
But The Serpent I really enjoyed. What an evil twat Surajh was.

Just finished watching The Medici series on Netflix.

I didn't know anything about the family until i read up on the them.
I almost gave up during the first season, but i stuck with it as it was watchable.
It was interesting to see the rise of the family and how their ambitions and fortune changed.

Invasion it’s a slow slow burner this mainly getting to know characters from around the world many might think it’s garbage but it is so good a second season has been commissioned also. 8/10

Finished My Brilliant Friend (Sky Atlantic) last night, after seeing it recommended on here, depite it not really being my thing.

Loved it, Well worth watching in my opinion. Two series, eight episodes in each.
Really enjoyed it myself - very easy to get invested in the main characters.

Season 2 is actually based on the second book ‘The story of a new name’ and season 3 which they are doing will be based on the 3td in the series ‘Those who stayed and those who leave’
