Black Doves I thoroughly enjoyed it
The prequel series Dexter: Original Sin (2024) is looking good, one episode in.I heard Dexter is good, might check that
Just started landman on episode two and enjoying it.Gave 'Landman' a try for the benefit of Billy Bob Thornton. Started well but its developed into a kind of a cross between a Carry On film and Dallas. Shame coz Billy Bob is excellent as ever.
Im just about to start it. how did it compare with the first two series?Just finished the third series of State of Happiness. Norwegian drama set in the 70’s-90’s about the oil industry in Stavanger.
Excellent stuff and looking forward to any future series.
Strike…….what a load of shite……….
It's not bad but very predictable. It was good until the last episode and then they decided to introduce a 'new' angleWould like to point 'After the Party' which started on Wednesday and is available on the C4 player.
Set in New Zealand and wonderfully acted, I watched the first 5 on Wednesday and finished it the following day.
Outstanding and very highly recommended.
Very pleased that your first post was a response to one of my messages. It's not bad but very predictable. It was good until the last episode and then they decided to introduce a 'new' angle
I'm not sure it's *quite* as good, but still immersive - and the 80s fashions are hilarious.Im just about to start it. how did it compare with the first two series?
Not enjoying series 2 at all.Season two of Silo is a bit of a slow burn compared to the first series isn’t it.
Not enjoying series 2 at all.
I've not seen any of these, maybe a daft question, which to watch first? The prequel series Dexter: Original Sin (2024) is looking good, one episode in.

Set in the early 90's following young Dexter Morgan as he begins his forensic internship at the Miami Metro PD and his transition into an avenging serial killer.
All the familiar characters (Debs cursing, Masuka with the same laugh & Batista with the same dress sense) from the original series are there in a younger shinier versions of themselves, with Michael C. Hall brought back to doing the inner monologue of his younger self.
I was dreading it being a cringy nostalgia bait series, but it was a pretty solid start and it emits vibes of the original Dexter series.
Reviewed in the words of Sergeant James Doakes: "Surprise, Motherf*cker!"
Dexter S1 to S4 is peak Dexter, it goes to pot from S5 onwards. Skip the rest of the guff and jump back to the new prequel series.I've not seen any of these, maybe a daft question, which to watch first?
