I am hoping Peaky Blinders film is finished on a high. I haven't been quite as anxious for something to come out in many years. Hopefully will be similar to El Camino with Breaking Bad.

Star Trek Strange New Worlds - just started watching this on Paramount +. Fantastic series (2 episodes in) and my favorite new TV series.

Me and the Mrs found and watched True Detective series 1 a few weeks ago. Absolutely brilliant.

Skipped series 2 and 3 and went straight to series 4. What have I just seen ffs! What a crock. Its supposed to be about detectives but it was woke saturated, virtue signalling, shallow, corny, racist, sexist, boring relationships drama with no actual relationship to the original series. I found myself waiting and waiting for the actual story to re-emerge from all the mental breakdowns and people finding themselves.

Some good performances though, but some bad characters, not sure what they were thinking but it doesnt to seem to have been the art of making good TV.

Just reading a book on Kenneth Noye from Donal Mcintyre. Fascinating read with him going on the run after the Stephen Lawrence road rage murder.

Have watched The Wire three times now. The last season is the least amazing, but it's STILL very good. The first four are seriously great TV.

And have just rewatched The Americans. Incredible TV. Even better second time around.

We've just started the Americans and are enjoying things so far.

Finished Dept Q last night, loved it. Some great characters in there.

Cliche after cliche after cliche - many times i went "oh come on!" - and yet, still, one of the best binge TV watches in years for me, fills the void until Slow Horses.

The ending is a bit weird.I never thought I’d get so into sports documentaries, but espn has some really great series. The “30 for 30” episodes in particular are really well done — they pull you in even if you’re not a huge fan of the sport being featured.
