I fought the law, tearjerker! Well, made me sad anyway
Same here. I've seen it twice before but not for a good few years now. Half way through the fourth series. Can't stop watching HOMELAND on Disney channel. Upto season five already.
It's quality. Can't stop watching HOMELAND on Disney channel. Upto season five already.
I watched the first two seasons but the lead actress just got on my tits I couldn’t take to her at all, pity becaue the first two seasons were good but she wasn’t the best actress. Can't stop watching HOMELAND on Disney channel. Upto season five already.
Watched 6 episodes recently and thought it was poor, whats with his shrink ?Totally agree. Best tv show ever made. Didnt fade to grey though, went immediately black and off. Pretty sure that shows what happened, but thats just me
Watched the first one last night. Underwhelming to say the least.I enjoyed Alien Earth up until the last 2 episodes.
Now it is The Walking Dead level of stupidity and pointless melodrama.
It's a pity.
1. The number of incidents of incompetence on the ship was utterly ridiculous. The lack of redundancy in managing these deadly beings was disappointingly lazy writing imo. I'd have forgiven 1 or maybe 2 but to have so many layers of dumb was just dumb.
2. Then to repeat it in the next episode was too much. One door? Fuck off.
The only good thing for me was that it reminded me of my mother "shut the door, you're letting all the cold air in (I mean ...parasitic horrifically-deadly human-extinction-threatening aliens out)"

I'm not trying to tell anyone who the should and shouldn't like. But to fair to the actress, she was playing a character with bi-polar. So she was bound to be a bit manic/ annoying on occasions.I watched the first two seasons but the lead actress just got on my tits I couldn’t take to her at all, pity becaue the first two seasons were good but she wasn’t the best actress.
But it's a TV show. Name an action TV show that didn't have some level of "incompetence"!
It would be an extremely short run of a show if it didn't have any!
You could level all your accusations about any of the "Alien" films you've watched. But, also, I'm not saying the show is perfect, it's not.
But, at least, you explained it!
I just don’t think she was a good actress mate that’s all very hammyI'm not trying to tell anyone who the should and shouldn't like. But to fair to the actress, she was playing a character with bi-polar. So she was bound to be a bit manic/ annoying on occasions.
Alien Earth I suppose is like marmite for those who enjoy the original films. I’ve enjoyed it so far with the whole series not focused on xenomorphs with new creatures brought to the forefront and also how symph life forms are brought into existence. A series of an alien running round and killing a ships crew as it brings back nostalgia wouldn’t work over many episodes.
