True blood has just started again, now thats a great show.

Banshee is the best right now if you take vampire diaries out of the equation

Vampire diaries was good the first couple of series then it lost the plot.

Last Resort

just watched the only 13 episodes made and they canceled a second series due to the fact it could not cope with other networks shows at its aired time.

it may not be to everybody's taste but i actually enjoyed and thankfully knowing that it was being canceled they never left it hanging at the end and tied it all up.

The things I wouldn't do to klaus are a very few. I'd make an effort for him, a very good effort

I know I've been telling people on here since march to get on to Banshee, its a brilliant show.

Sacked off Vegas on sky one the first few eps were good then it got tedious

It's about the mafia , it's Italian with English subtitles.
If you got Sky "on demand" give it a go , you won't be disappointed.
Real gritty programme, some of the translation isn't the best but the acting is superb.

Usually American pilot shows they spend over a millions pound for it after that budget is a lot lower then last couple of episodes up it to a million again especially for sci-fi shows

Yeah watch the killing the English speaking one its pretty good but be warned the pace is a lot slower than the Swedish one

Ive been banging on about Treme earlier in the tread. Just started watching the second series and it's very good. Really would recommend it.

What's it about

New Orleans after hurricane Katrina. It's based around the real area of Treme in the city, the oldest black community in the U.S. and as it got hit badly by the storm it ended up the City Officials didnt/havent re-built the 'Projects' - housing estates.

The first series started off a few months after when some people tried to move back in. The second series is a around a year after and it seems to have got a lot darker in mood.

Oh and there is great music through the programmes.
