If I remember correctly, the series starts toneet, overseas, so rips should be available Monday onwards, at most.

American Gods coming to HBO :)

In June 2013, there was speculation that HBO were planning a six season television adaptation of the novel. Gaiman, however, debunked these rumors on his Twitter account by declaring, "Seeing news stories about AMERICAN GODS being "officially greenlit" at HBO. These are just people talking on the internet & not true at all."

Gutted, books are brilliant!
Sadly none of those links work :(

There's 3 links, on the one that says 'link' - keep finger on it until it says copy, press that and open a new page, paste into URL and it opens up- just tried it, all working. (:

About 30 mins into crossing lines quite promising

<a class="postlink" href="http://m.imdb.com/title/tt2427220/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://m.imdb.com/title/tt2427220/</a>

Anyone else watch Skins last night? I appear to in a minority of one at work and my Skins obsessed Mate is on Holiday. I thought it was excellent.

Really looking forwards to the Cook two parter. It's set in Manchester.

It's the living tv premier of the season in the uk of series 8 yes. They are in purgatory

I'm madly in love with dean Winchester FYI

Ah then i have seen it, I like Garth! Party on Garth.

Garth is hilarious but I'm concerned about all the characters that are killed off

Bobby is gone, you have to move on:p[/quote]

Quite liked season 8 myself. The finale was great and the series contained some great character development for some long running characters.

Plus the rumours that a favourite of mine may return in season nine has me
Happy.

Really didnt enjoy it but I love Cook he is a great character so looking forward to his. Got really confused last night because it was filmed in town yet based in London, kept thinking "What are they doing in Spinningfields?"

Was addicted to Spooks and thankfully the family over the years has bought me the full DVD Collection.Still miss it like fuck though.
Now into Homeland and Americans,so my love of espionage etc is very high.
Whilst in Cuba last year I got hooked into a little American show, that was being screened twice a week.Raved about it to the family and the kids bought me the first two Boxed Sets for a Christmas present, but somehow I`ve still not seen a single DVD of it yet !!! The Boardwalk Empire.

I loved Spooks as well, so Homeland and Americans were a shoe in for me as well.

I really liked Boardwalk Empire, loosely based on fact, a good watch, Steve Buschemi is superb.

So much good TV!! I would say in many ways they are surpassing film makers at the moment, as television allows proper character development, due to having much more screen time. Films are still good for action films or when you need a big visual fix but dramas are far better on television now.

I had an idea some bits were Manchester. Obviously Effy was filmed walking around The City in London but I definitely clocked the CIS Tower at one point. Poor stuff for legitimacy and a genuine feel. It reminded me of Green Street.

Watched ep:2 of Under the dome, looks like it is going to be a good series.
Im a bit short on stuff to watch, i have 2 series, Under the dome and Falling skies :(

Hannibal was good, grisly as fuck but really psychological and suspenseful.

Looking forward to seeing what they do in season 2 considering we already know the characters and a lot of the potential outcomes (if you like the novels/films that is).

I watched the first 4 then got bored.

Just finished breaking bad (awsome show!)
Looking for something to watch next.

Looking at one of the following:-

Dexter - a bit put off this as I've recently finished Hanibal and I can imagine this having a similar feel to it.
Banshe - noticed a few mention it on here but the review scores weren't as favourable as other shows.
Battle star Galactica. Not a huge fan of sci-fi shows but if its good ill try anything.
Band of brothers - don't really fancy period progs.

Like I said above, I don't fancy any period stuff.

Anyone comment on the above or recommend anything?

Take your pick of any of your choices mate, all superb,my favourite though has to Battlestar - brilliant in every way,and I don't think the SciFi thing will bother you to much.

Band of Brothers a close second mind......
