Why Always Ste said:I respect Collymore for taking a Stand but for me Free Speech is way more important and Twitter self-polices as I've seen Scumbags texting racist abuse and minutes later there's many replies abusing the racist.
Not saying I agree with any crap people will post but I'd rather they have the ability online to voice their views, just as they can offline.
Numpties like Joey Barton get a bigger voice but I suppose we're Numpties for following him Haha....
It's upto users on Twitter to educate the abusers about their comments and why they shouldn't have those views.

You can't say these things offline. If you said, "I'm going to come to your house and murder you" to someone in the street you would be arrested. If you racially abuse someone in the street you would be arrested.
Uk freedom of speech does not cover hate speech and threats of violence, and I completely agree with that.

I actually think he's a decent pundit but that's by the by, people are using the most obscene racial language and sending him death threats purely because he gave his opinion on an incident in a fotball match, it's ridiculous and frankly unbelievable.
I'm glad he's taken a stand and managed to create a big issue out of it, Twitter needs to take more responsibility in dealing with this sort of thing. As for the Sun, well anyone who reads that load of shite needs their head testing after all the bollocks they've printed over the years.
